100,000 visitors to the Opal Lady website, and for us a celebration!!! At 2.44pm today, Friday the 13th July we wish to thank all of you that follow our journey, its encouraging for me to see the visitors page and get the feedback, sort of makes the hours of work updating and publishing the photos and stories worthwhile!!

or Sale, this is so we can continue to tick more items off our Bucket List of life!!! It will be with great sadness for us to hand her over to someone else, but we will be happy knowing that they will be able to enjoy the peace and serenity of quiet anchorages and distant shores in safety and comfort as we have done the past 3.5 years. We
do need a boat for our next adventure, but albiet a very tiny one. Planning is well underway for our
“Tinny down the Darling River” trip in 2013. It will be perfect timing as the rain from the past few years that has broken the drought has been emptying into the Murray/Darling Basin in NSW/Vic/SA.

The last few months we have been housesitting in Tassie and return to Opal Lady this week after relaxing by the fire while the winter months pass by! Its been great to have stopped for a while, seeing we have been off exploring and adventuring for the past 6 years.

Our two adopted pussies, Freckles and Teddie have kept us company whilst their owners are away !!
Nearby we have the Lime Bay Reserve with the ruins of a convict settlement, we explored them and I even put Alan in one of the cells!!! He won’t do that again????
This bay was a favourite anchorage of ours! Beautiful sandstone weathered over time.
