Tuesday 11th November

Mondays’ meeting with Peter (Nordhavn) didn’t put much light on the progess of Opal Lady, except they are sending the commisioning Crew from the states on Friday.

After a very busy weekend socializing and taking all the contents of the van and depositing them at Brian and Judys’ shed we reluctently left their home and headed south. Last night our caravan rocked with the gale force winds at Ballina. The changes to the Pacific Hwy were amazing, new sections started and others that had been opened since we drove north in May. Tonight we are at Croki, in a lovely little caravan park on the banks of the Manning River at Taree, rain drops on the roof and the temperature rather cool after months up north. We only have 220km to go tomorrow and we will be back at Belmont, Lake Macquarie for a few days.
